Courage to make a Decision

This morning I wanted to talk to you about Indecision. We all have to make decisions in our lives. Sometimes those decisions are easy to make and sometimes the are hard. Our decisions can lead our lives in different directions and with extremely different results.
Do you find yourself today at a crossroads in your life? Wondering where your life should be going, what you should be doing, loss of a loved one, relationships, careers, your walk with God, maybe thinking of going back to school - its decision time loved ones. Its time to get off the fence and make a decision. The bible does not have anything good to say about indecision. Its time to get off the fence and do something - press forward in what ever it is you need to do and stop riding the fence and floundering in life. One day yes - one day no - Luke warm - your in- your out.....there is nothing good in indecision. You cant experience Gods blessings in life, enjoy the prosperity that God has in store for you, or any word of encouragement that God wants to give you because you just cant make up your mind to follow Him or not. Its a miserable place to live.
If God is God - than follow Him and give Him 100% of your life and forget this in between stuff that has you trapped.
We are currently working on a project at church to get people connected - serving and prospering in their faith and walk with Christ. There is a meaning and satisfaction of being accepted, being connected and part of a family that loves you and you're all working for the same God and His mission - team work. Some folks, including me for years, just went to church and listened - then left until the next week. There is purpose and meaning that is so awesome to experience when you begin to serve, get connected to the church's purpose and have a church family around you. How can I not want you to experience this? How can I be still and be quiet knowing this is something everyone can experience? Get off the fence and make a decision that will change your life? Think bigger and put your goals high and be "All in" instead of floundering, just getting by and the ho-hum that life has you in.

1 Corinthians:
Thanksgiving 4I always thank God for you because of his grace given you in Christ Jesus. 5For in him you have been enriched in every way—in all your speaking and in all your knowledge— 6because our testimony about Christ was confirmed in you. 7Therefore you do not lack any spiritual gift as you eagerly wait for our Lord Jesus Christ to be revealed. 8He will keep you strong to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9God, who has called you into fellowship with his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, is faithful.

Lord I pray today for the person today who is struggling with a decision - I pray for the courage that they may need to press through and get off the fence with whatever they are struggling with. Lord I pray for those who are not serving in their church and taking the steps to grow and get connected with others so that they may experience You in an amazing way. I pray for those who are not giving You 100% Lord and are experiencing You today with a love that is far above anything this world can offer.
Amen~
