Directions from Proverbs...

I come to you writing this today with many good things on my heart. We had such an awesome church service yesterday. We had our evening with the children's ministry out at the local park fishing and having a picnic. We have our Sunday services next week move to this coming Wednesday evening at the Amphitheatre at the local park with hamburgers and hot dogs! This is going to be an exciting week coming up.

God is taking us places..... Hope He is moving in your life as well. If He is not - ask yourself why - what is it that He is not moving in your life...

Proverbs 2:6-15
God gives out Wisdom free, is plainspoken in Knowledge and Understanding. He's a rich mine of Common Sense for those who live well, a personal bodyguard to the candid and sincere. He keeps his eye on all who live honestly, and pays special attention to his loyally committed ones. 9-15 So now you can pick out what's true and fair, find all the good trails!Lady Wisdom will be your close friend, and Brother Knowledge your pleasant companion.Good Sense will scout ahead for danger, Insight will keep an eye out for you. They'll keep you from making wrong turns, or following the bad directionsOf those who are lost themselves and can't tell a trail from a tumbleweed,These losers who make a game of evil and throw parties to celebrate perversity,Traveling paths that go nowhere, wandering in a maze of detours and dead ends.

Just some encouragement for those who are weary:

"Get up," and "don't be afraid."
"We need to look beyond ourselves."
"We've been commanded to take this Message to the world."
"Every week is someone's first week in this church."
"America is seeking God like crazy, but they're not coming to Church to find him."
"We need to focus on what matters."
"Time with God is the most important thing you do. Period."

"It insults God when we dream small dreams."

Keep your eyes on Jesus - He will keep you afloat and on top of the sinking waters. We can do all things through Christ Jesus. Why are your plans not working today? Maybe you have forgotten to ask God to get involved and to show you the way. His plans are far better than yours. Today is a great day!
Randy~
